Why choose local blooms?

"In a world with same-day shipping and mass produced items from far away countries, growing seasonal flowers feels like a rebellion against the norm. I am so proud to grow in a way that minimizes environmental impact - low flower miles from farm to table is one example, another being that pesticides or herbicides are never used in the fields. My hope is that when you take home, or give a bouquet of flowers to someone special, you’ll know they were grown, tended to and arranged with the utmost care." - Katherine
